About

My name is Megan and I enjoy making things.  I hold a BFA in Fibers, as well as a MA in Community Counseling and Art Therapy, both from Wayne State University.  I am a practicing art therapist with hospice, and I help children navigate their grief through artistic expression.

I gravitate towards colorful patterns, and the majority of my current work results in modern, eye-catching baby bibs, which are 100% cotton and machine-quilted.  They can be purchased through my Etsy shop.

I also work in illustration, weaving, and embroidery.  I make buttons to order, and would be happy to make some for you.  I am a hobby beekeeper, gardener, and fermenter (mostly of the drinkable variety).  I'm open to commission and collaboration.  I live in Detroit, Michigan.

"Yanutchya" is a made up, run-together word, based on a saying from my precious Nana, who is quick to say "ya nut, ya" when we do something that makes her roll her eyes. Say it quick and you've got "yanutchya."
